FAQS
WHAT SHOULD BE WORN TO POLE FITNESS SESSIONS?
Comfortable fitness attire (no underwear), such as a pair of shorts or leggings, and a t-shirt, tank top, or sports bra. If you plan on coming regularly and want to advance your skills on the pole, please wear shorts. Sports bras, and short and fitted shorts are recommended as skin contact with the pole is a key factor. Do not apply lotion, oils, or moisturizers on hands or body before pole classes because it will interfere with your ability to grip the pole safely. For your footwear you can wear socks, or bare feet.
CAN THIS BE DONE WITH NO UPPER BODY STRENGTH?
Pole fitness is a full body workout that works multiple muscle groups simultaneously including upper body, core, and lower body. Regular sessions with Moneypenny Pole Fitness will assist you in developing and strengthening these muscle groups.
WILL POLE FITNESS HELP ME LOSE WEIGHT?
Absolutely, pole fitness can assist in weight loss with regular sessions! Pole fitness utilizes all the major muscles in your body. It's a great way to accomplish strength training and perform cardio simultaneously. On average, during a one-hour pole class one can expect to burn 400+ calories. In addition to weight loss, you can also gain flexibility and tone your muscles.
DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE AND A DIET PLAN?
Nutrition and diet will be discussed. As I am not a certified nutritionist, I cannot provide professional nutritional guidance.
